An easy step-by-step manual.
So, you’ve decided to broadcast your first live stream and want to share your talents, insights, or adventures with the world in real-time. However, are you feeling a little bit confused since you’re using Yostream for the first time? Fret not! Here’s a friendly tutorial where we'll guide you step-by-step through the process of setting up and launching your inaugural live stream.
Type yostream.io in the address bar and press Enter.
Click ‘Get Started’ in the top-right corner.
You can continue using your Google or Facebook Account or any Email ID before hitting ‘Get Login Code’. In this demonstration, we'll use an Email ID to continue.
Enter the 6-digit code received on your Email ID and click ‘Continue’.
You’re now seeing Yostream’s dashboard.
Of the four clickable boxes, select ‘Start with Studio’.
After clicking 'Start with Studio', you'll see a pop-up on your browser asking permission to use cameras and microphones. Click 'Allow'.
From the dropdown menus, select your preferred camera and microphone. Also, choose a username and click 'Join Room' at the bottom. The 'Join Room' button won't be clickable unless you select input devices (camera and microphone) and provide your username.
What you’re seeing now is the canvas screen.
On the left panel, you can see your username under 'Participants'.
Once you toggle, you'll see your camera input appearing on the main screen.
Click 'Go Live.'
Click 'Connect Account' and select your desired platform. If your desired destination isn't integrated with Yostream, you can use Custom RTMP to add it in simple and quick steps.
