Yostream will remove the data it has stored in relation to a YouTube channel when it disconnects it. Additionally, Google's security settings page allows you to remove access.

We retain the collected personal information from connected third-party accounts for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

6.6. Disclosure:

Yostream enables the user authorization capability for platform access by using Google's Application Programming Interface (API) Services. Yostream will comply with the Google API Service User Data Policy, including the Limited Use Requirements when using and transferring data obtained through Google APIs to any other app.

6.7. Data Retention:

Yostream retains personal information only for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect platform security.

Unless a longer retention period is required by law, Yostream may generally retain:

  • Stream Metadata – up to 180 days
  • Complaint Records – up to 3 years
  • Enforcement and Moderation Records – up to 3 years

Retention periods may be extended where required for legal proceedings, investigations, security incidents, fraud prevention, or regulatory compliance.

6.8. Grievance and Complaint Records:

Information submitted through support requests, reporting channels, legal notices, or grievance mechanisms may be collected, processed, and retained for complaint handling, dispute resolution, policy enforcement, and legal compliance.

Complaints shall be processed in accordance with Yostream's Grievance Redressal Policy.

6.9. Intermediary Status:

Yostream acts as an intermediary and technology platform facilitating the transmission and distribution of user-generated content. Yostream does not create, publish, endorse, or exercise editorial control over user-generated content except to the extent reasonably necessary for legal compliance, platform security, policy enforcement, operational purposes, and protection of users.

Users remain solely responsible for the content they create, upload, stream, transmit, store, or distribute through the platform.

It is important to note that we do not control the data practices of the third-party platforms themselves. Therefore, we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies (check the Privacy Policy of Google for reference) to understand how your personal information is collected, used, and shared by them.
