Kickstart your streaming journey.
Backed by Ed Craven and Bijan Tehrani, the co-founders of the popular online casino Stack.com, Kick was launched on October 18, 2022, but became extremely popular among streamers quickly with lucrative revenue share and lenient content moderation policies.
Tyler Faraz Niknam (Trainwreckstv), the other co-founder, who gained popularity from Twitch, also played a key role in popularizing it among fellow streamers. It resulted in the migration of several Twitch users to Kick with their loyal user base. By the end of 2023, this live streaming service surpassed the milestone of 100 million viewing hours with 137K active channels as of January 2024.
After Twitch announced the discontinuation of support for Twitch Studio, streamers have been searching for Twitch Studio alternatives. The decision has also sparked conversation on the internet with mixed reactions. Amid all these, if you’re looking for a fresh place to stream your content, Kick is ready to play a friendly host.
