OBS Virtual Camera is an OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) feature that allows users to create virtual sets and environments for their live streams or recordings. With OBS Virtual Camera, users can enhance the visual presentation by integrating virtual backgrounds, overlays, and effects into their broadcasts.

Make sure you’ve installed the latest version of OBS on your computer. If you haven’t, visit the official OBS website and download the software suitable for your operating system.
Once you’ve successfully installed the software, you’ll see the following UI.
Click the ‘+’ button in the ‘Sources’ block.
You’ll see a list of options, from which you can select desired ones.
In the present case, we’ll select ‘Media Source’ to add a file already saved on the computer.
You can either create a new or add an existing source. Since it’s your first source, click ‘OK’ to continue.
Click ‘Browse’ to upload the file. You can also select/deselect options such as playing the clip in the loop or changing its speed, etc.
Drag the borders to adjust your file in the frame.
Once done, it will fit perfectly.
Click ‘Start Virtual Camera’ under the ‘Controls’ block.
Since the OBS Virtual Camera has started working, you need to select it from the dropdown menu of Camera under the settings of your live streaming software.
Fret not, restart your browser.
Make sure you’ve followed everything from Step 1 to Step 7. After launching the Zoom meeting, click the ‘Start Video’ option in the menu bar at the bottom of the Zoom window.
Select the OBS Virtual Camera.
Congratulations! You’re now conducting your Zoom meeting using OBS Virtual Camera.
Launch your Google Meet.
From the menu bar at the bottom, click the option of three vertical dots (kebab menu).
Click ‘Settings’.
Click ‘Video’ on the left panel.
Click the dropdown menu under the ‘Camera’ box and select OBS Virtual Camera.
You’re now using OBS Virtual Camera in your Google Meet.
Click the ‘+’ button in the ‘Sources’ block of your OBS.
Select ‘Image’ and upload your logo (refer to Step 5 and Step 6).
Resize your logo by dragging the border and adjust it wherever you want.
