To demonstrate the entire process, we want you to be comfortable by offering the solution with our browser-based live streaming software, Yostream. Simply put, you don’t need to download any software or worry about your computer’s compatibility to stream on Twitch.
Type yostream.io in the address bar of your web browser.
Click ‘Get Started’ in the top-right corner.
You can continue using your Google or Facebook Account or simply enter any Email ID before clicking ‘Get Login Code’ at the bottom. In this demonstration, we'll use an Email ID.
Enter the 6-digit code received on your Email ID and click ‘Continue’.
You’re now seeing your Yostream dashboard.
Click ‘Live Stream Studio’ to proceed further to stream on Twitch.
On the next page, your browser will ask permission to access your camera and microphone. Click 'Allow'. In case, you click 'Block', you won't be able to broadcast video or audio.
Now, you need to select your mic and camera inputs along with providing a username. Only then you'll be able to click 'Join Room' at the bottom.
You're now seeing the canvas.
At the left panel, toggle to go 'On Air'.
Your camera input is now being displayed on the big screen.
Click 'Go Live'
Click ‘Connect Account’ and select Twitch from the options.
You’ll be redirected to a new window. Please ensure that you’ve signed in to your Twitch account in the same browser.
Scroll down and click ‘Authorize’.
You’ve successfully connected your Twitch account with Yostream. Click ‘Close Window’ to move ahead.
Go back to your Yostream’s canvas screen. Now, you can see your Twitch account has been connected to Yostream.
Select the square box icon of your account and click ‘Start Broadcast’ at the bottom to stream on Twitch. You're now streaming on Twitch using live streaming software.
