How to Live Stream Church Services with Yostream

Step 1: Set Up Your Yostream Account

Open your web browser and visit yostream.io.

Click the Get Started button at the top-right corner of the homepage.

Use your Google, Facebook, or email account to log in.

If signing up via email, enter your email ID, request the login code, and input the 6-digit code sent to your inbox.

Step 2: Enter the Live Stream Studio

Navigate to the Dashboard and click on Live Stream Studio.

Allow your browser to access your camera and microphone.

Step 3: Set Up Your Studio

Select your preferred camera and microphone inputs. Enter a username and click Join Room to enter the Yostream studio.

Toggle the username on your left panel.

Step 4: Leverage Custom Branding

Select the Brand icon from the bottom-right corner.

Using the custom branding option, you can:

  1. Select your desired Theme.
  2. Upload Logo, Overlay, and Background.
  3. Select Video Clip.
  4. Choose Background Music while managing its volume.
  5. Upload a Banner with the option of Ticker.
Note on Branding: Custom branding options are available exclusively for Yostream premium users, allowing you to personalize your church’s live stream with logos, overlays, and more. The free plan includes only default branding options, so upgrading unlocks greater flexibility to reflect your church’s identity.

Step 5: Start Live Streaming

  1. Click the Go Live button.
  2. Connect your favorite destinations. Some of the popular social media platforms have already been integrated. However, if your desired platform is missing, you can connect it easily through Custom RTMP.
  3. Once you select your destinations, click Start Broadcast. A kindly reminder, if you're streaming to more than one destination, it'll be called multistreaming. (With the free plan, you can multistream to only 2 destinations.)
