Live streaming is a powerful tool for journalists seeking to utilize it as a career option. Rather than working for a traditional media house, they can start their independent channel with complete power over news production. Journalists don’t need to waste money on setting up a studio because the built-in customization features already take care of everything making the entire stream visually appealing.
If you’re using live streaming software for the first time, don’t fret. You don’t need to install any software to start streaming because our browser-based live streaming software manages everything in between making the entire process smooth. Won't you like to live stream your news reporting, opinions, talk shows, and other journalistic activities sitting in a fancy studio like the mainstream journalists do? Well, you can! You can customize your stream with interactive elements to make it look professional. Try it for yourself by clicking the 'Brand' tab.
Theme: A theme provides aesthetic appeal to the banner and display name with different shapes. Under Theme, you can select your brand color.
Graphics: The next option is 'Graphics', where you can add logo, overlay, and background.
Logo: You can remove the default logo of Yostream to upload your own. A good logo helps build authenticity for your channel. You can read a friendly guide explaining how to remove Yostream’s logo while live streaming.
Overlay: Overlay makes your stream visually interesting and informative by staying on top of other elements or backgrounds. You can use the available overlay or upload a copyright-free one by clicking the ‘+’ sign on the right.
Background: Background simply refers to what perception you want to create in viewers’ minds regarding your physical location, aura, or the overall theme of your topic. Select or upload your desired background and set the mood.
Videos: You can use short video clips anywhere in your stream to make it more engaging. You can insert them in the beginning as an intro, in the middle of the stream for a quick break, or at the end at the concluding point. You can also use the toggle key to play them in a loop.
Audios: Similar to the video clip, you can add background music to your stream and play in the loop using the toggle key.
Banners: After going through all of the available features under the ‘Brand’ tab, select the last — ‘Banners’ tab, and click ‘+ Add new banner’. Write down the banner text in the dialogue box and tick the checkbox to make your text scroll converting it into a ticker.
