Resolve your problem in easy steps.
While connecting your Facebook profile, Yostream requests you to access your name and profile picture and then makes another request asking who can see content Yostream posts to your timeline.
By default, the privacy option is set to ‘Friends’ which means if any viewer on Facebook is commenting on your stream, it will not show up on your Yostream’s chat interface. Your friends may be commenting on live stream content on the timeline but if you’ve proceeded further without changing the ‘Friends’ status, you certainly can’t see any comment.
If you want to see all of the Facebook comments on Yostream, you need to change the settings to ‘Public’.
Visit the Apps and websites page of Facebook. Find Yostream in the list and click the ‘View and edit’ button on the right.
As we can see, Yostream is not listed here. We’ll now move further to the Business integrations page. After finding Yostream in the list, click the ‘View and edit’ button on the right.
Scroll down the modal window and click the dropdown menu where ‘Friends’ has been set as the default, adjacent to the following text: Who can see that you use this business integration?
Change it to ‘Public’ and click the blue ‘Save’ button on the bottom-right corner.
Once you’ve changed the settings from ‘Friends’ to ‘Public’, you can see the incoming Facebook comments on Yostream.
