Step-by-Step Guide to Go Live on Rumble
Step 1: Visit Rumble
Open your desktop browser, type rumble.com, and press Enter.
Step 2. Sign Up for an Account
If you don’t already have an account, click Sign Up at the top-right corner of the screen.
Step 3. Complete Registration
Fill in the required details, including your name, username, and email.
Select the checkbox to agree to the terms, and click Register.
Complete the CAPTCHA and proceed.
Choose Continue to Rumble.com when prompted.
Step 4. Access the Live Streaming Section
On your Rumble homepage, click the video camera icon on the right side of the header.
Select Go Live.
Step 5. Set Up a New Stream
Click Setup New Stream.
You’ll see a message outlining the requirements for live streaming:
- Have at least 5 followers.
- Subscribe to a premium plan.
- Verify your account with a phone number.
For this tutorial, we’ll proceed with account verification using a phone number:
Navigate to Account Settings > Verification.
Enter your phone number and validate it with the received code.
Your Rumble account has been successfully verified.
Repeat Step 4.
Step 6. Create a New Livestream
Once verified, return to the live streaming section and click Create New Livestream.
Step 7. Optional Placeholder Video
Upload a placeholder video to create a professional appearance for your stream.
Step 8. Fill Out Livestream Info
Add a compelling title and description for your live stream. Select primary and secondary categories using the dropdown menu.
Upload a custom thumbnail if needed.
You can go live immediately by clicking Right now (our choice in this tutorial) or schedule it by selecting Later time. Decide who can watch your live stream by customizing Visibility. Check the box if you want to make your recording private after the live stream ends. Click Next.
On the next page, select one of the licensing options after understanding the terms. Check both boxes under Terms and Conditions, and click Submit.
Step 9. Retrieve Stream Configuration
Click Get Streamer Configuration.
Step 10. Access your Server URL and Stream Key
Your stream is ready, and you can now see the Server URL and Stream Key.
Step 11. Configure Your Live Streaming Software
Log into Yostream, a browser-based live streaming software, and select Live Stream Studio from the dashboard.
Step 12. Set Up Yostream Studio
- Choose your microphone and camera from the dropdown menus.
- Enter a username and click Join Room.
Step 13. Connect Yostream to Rumble
After entering the Yostream Studio, follow these steps:
- Toggle the Participants panel on.
- Click Go Live, then Connect Accounts.
- Select Custom RTMP (available for premium users).
- Name your stream, then paste the Server URL and Stream Key from Step 10.
- Click Start Broadcast.
